Armenian monastery Akhtala
Lenktemur

Tamerlane buried one of his wives in the promontory adjacent to Akhtala monastery during his conquest of the region. The area is known as Lenktemur. 

The armenian ethnos predates Turkic and Mongol invasions of the Caucasus, Armenian Highlands to the Caspian Sea by millenia, dating from before the Bronze Age.
