Johann J. MANISADJIAN, 1885
 
The first studies on butterfly species in Hadjin (Hajin) were carried out by the Armenian scientist Manisadjian in 1885. 

Otto Staudinger, appointed researchers to collect  fauna, including Armenian Manisadjian in the Armenian cities of Mardin, Antaib , Merzifon, Mersinjan, Malatya, Kayseri, Tokat,  and Marash.

Representative samples have been stored in Munich ZoologischerStaatssammlung München (Munich State Collection of Zoology).

Representative Samples are Stored at Zoologisches Museum der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (Humboldt University Zoological Museum).
