James W. Gerard
Chairman of the American Committee for the Independence of Armenia was a visionary diplomat during the Presidency of Woodrow Wilson. He championed the rights of Armenians to live independently in an Armenian nation in their historic homeland of Asia Minor. He was a noble voice in the midst of the Armenian Genocide by the Ottomans and Turkey.
